Lakewood partnered with Parlor City Vegan to present a delicious three-course wine pairing menu on Saturday, June 1 at 6:30pm.
Parlor City Vegan, established in 2016, is a restaurant and plant-based foods company based in Binghamton, NY that strives to bring people together from all backgrounds to celebrate the regional bounty of upstate New York with its changing seasonal menus, event catering, and line of plant-based food products.
Fun fact: The owners of Parlor City Vegan, Sara and Lei Liu, were also Lakewood’s first Wine Club members!
Our guests enjoyed this delicious menu:
- Amuse: Fresh Lettuce Wrap, tofu, herbs, vineyard peanut sauce paired with Bubbly Candeo
- Course #1: Spring Pea Soup, local mint, micros, toasted crostini and crab cake paired with Dry Rose of Pinot Noir
- Course #2: Gnocchi, responsibly foraged ramp pesto, locally grown and foraged mushrooms, vegan cheese paired with Lemberger
- Course #3: Petite Cheesecake served with a Lakewood Vignoles raspberry sauce paired with Vignoles
